The Academic Center offers academic support opportunities for students in the areas of critical thinking, reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
In conjunction with learning strategies and metacognitive skills, students may work with experts regarding specific content-area development during the 2nd half of the lunch periods (4, 5, and 6) - after the LINK bell. At the Academic Center, students and teachers work together in a safe, quiet, and productive environment fostering Redhawk academic values and rigor by providing:
Expert academic content-area support Safety to ask questions A community anchored in collaboration Pedagogical practices linking learning disciplines A workspace anchored on academic integrity, student independence and maturation through the development of student-owned academic strategies with the support of teachers

Teachers will support you in Comm. Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

Periods 4, 5, or 6 Study Hall students: Must have a pass from content-area teacher - no passes written in Academic Center
