If so, then you should think about joining the Early Bird Club. The Early Bird Club is a fun, before school activity where students play games in the LRC or activities in the gym. This gives an opportunity to meet new people and hang with friends.
Each Sunday, NNHS posts an electronic newsletter to keep families informed of upcoming events, news, celebrations, guidance activities, and partner organization events.
On behalf of the staff, I would like to welcome you to Washington Junior High School. At WJHS our goal is to create an active, engaging learning environment where every student develops a love for learning and the tools to become a lifelong learner. I am honored to work with a staff that is dedicated to creating learning environments where students are encouraged to learn and grow. WJHS teachers are devoted to their professional growth and development. Our students experience a multitude of successes in the classroom, on the playing field and on the stage. In addition, our students are actively involved in numerous clubs that suit all interests.
Your involvement as a parent is an essential part of your child’s middle school experience and contributes to the overall school culture of WJHS. In this spirit, the staff and I look forward to working with you and your child throughout the year. Collaboration among students, teachers and parents is an essential key to the true success of a school community. Throughout the year we will keep students and parents informed through this website, Talk 203 messages and our Twitter account. Parents are also encouraged to remain actively involved through activities like Home and School Volunteer opportunities, Parent-Teacher conferences, field trip chaperones, open houses, athletic events, concerts and more!
Please join me in making this a fantastic year for all. We are glad that you and your child are here!
